Phantom Kitty Syndrome (PKS) affects nearly 4/5 of all those who lose a kitty. It is especially strong when you’ve just recently lost your kitty and it finally hits you that you probably wont ever see it again. Symptoms include imagining that you see your cat everywhere.
Opening the front door: Oh, here comes my kitty, he’s about to walk inside.
Pulling into the driveway: Oh kitty, watch out for the car!
Opening up the panty door: Oh kitty, are you hungry?
Returning from the mail box: Oh, look at my cute prancing kitty!
But actually the cat is not there. I just imagine. It still hasn’t really hit me. I imagine him everywhere.
In other news: I am returning to Georgia Tech to pursue Mechanical Engineering!
I cant remember if I brought that up already or not. But its turning into a giant pain. For ME, I’m a freshman. But technically I’m a senior with over 130 hours. For certain classes, I cannot register because I’m a freshman. For other classes, I cannot register because I’m not a freshman. All my 4th and 5th year friends got to begin their registration on the 1st. I had to wait til the 5th. There is a class that I need called 1770. They are all closed and they do not allow overrides. It finally opened, excited, I clicked on it to register. EH – not a freshman. awesome. Send and e-mail, apply for a permit through the system. Granted- but not before the class filled up again.
Note: this class that I need is not a large lecture class. It is offered at varying times M and W anywhere from 8 to 9 am to 4 to 5 pm (none two classes at the same time, there are about 15 of them) and THEN it also has a random 3 hour lab time that could be on Tuesdays from 12 to 3. Unfortunately.. since they are all full i need to just grab which ever one opens first. So. I can’t do the rest of my schedule until I get this one class.
I’ve been on my computer almost 24/7 for the past 3 days. refreshing. waiting for this class.
Result: old person back pain. I can’t do this.
